I am new on here. My husband and I would like to be involved/connected with others. I was wondering if things get bad what should we do. R there any groups of people where we r at, Lexington/Louisville KY area, that have meetings? Should we get a cb radio and then how do we use that to connect with people in our area? If things get bad I want to be prepared and know how to join in with others.

Owing to doxxing and the like, you are unlikely to coax TDR users into publicly advertised meetings.
Best bet is to show up at the local Republican Committe meeting (I know, I am a Trump supporter, and a conservative, many Repubs can pound sand) because you're more likely to find individuals with similar views there. Direct your conversations and listen to responses. Gun/Sportsmen Clubs and Amateur Radio Clubs can lead one to similar thinkers. Self-reliance, prepper types who are mostly conservatives and independent people who tend to find the government and bureaucracies to be anathema are also possibilities.
