I hardly go on Faceberg anymore. It's a lot of old pics and a few of my daughter. And I have a lot of music contacts there for my job. It's hard being self-employed and not having the market available. If I had a regular job, it wouldn't be too hard.

Google is probably the hardest as I use a lot of their "free" storage across several accounts. And I have an Android. I do try to use Bing as often as I can.
I'd happily give them up for a viable alternative that isn't completely shitty and some echo chamber (like Voat is to Reddit). Pushing harder for anti-trust measures should be the move, too.
All that said, I'm still of the mind to organize raids on Reddit from here. Thebleft uses these platforms to fester amd spread their bullshit. Create fake accounts and use adblockers.
If you're up for getting your hands a bit dirty, installing an opensource project like https://nextcloud.com/ will give you storage you can share across phones and computers, as an alternative to Google Drive or Dropbox or OneDrive. I've been running that for the whole family for a couple of years now, without trouble.
Working on saving everything I want to keep from my FB account, then deleting first the content (individually), then the whole account. My next phone purchase will be either a Linux phone or a de-Googled Android phone. Never did anything with Apple. ATM using Amazon as a last resort, when I can't find something locally and I can't order directly from the manufacturer.

We use cars to get to Trump rallies and so not using them would only marginalize ourselves. Same with social media. That said, we should limit as much time on them as possible because it's healthy.

I currently use a Google phone. Use DDG but I am starting to see censorship on my personal txt msgs. Not sure if that is my provider or phone
