We've all been asking this question. Tyrants are making these arbitrary calls.

And let's turn this around a little. I love Walmart all day long, for example, but why can they sell 20-buck slacks, while someone else's Rodeo Dr. men's clothing store is ordered closed?

The world is moving toward Corporate/NGO Oligarchy. The fewer companies, the easier it is to make a club out of the megacorps left.

Any Rand explained this in detail. It is much easier to force a handful of mega companies to bend to the corrupt pols will, than it is to do the same to thousands of them.

This. An essential part of the Great Reset strategy for the concentration of power.

I think it is more the Megacorps buying the politicians than the other way around.

What's the point in staying at the poker table after all your chips are gone?

In my commie state back in March-May clothes were deemed essential, but clothing stores were forced to close so you only had Walmart and Target to by them at.

In my area one day the lefties are screaming support local businesses then a few days later the MSM will post some doom and gloom and suddenly it is back to stay home, shut down the state, just for 2 weeks, people are dying!

Because giant corporations are "essential", we don't want independent business owners having a middle-class lifestyle do we?
