So this depends... For my eyes, given that I wear contacts, the holographic tends to be better for me... Also for using it both eyes open. Game-changer for me. As someone said below, tbe best budget optic out there less than Eotech or Trijicon is going to be Holosun, but it's a Chinese company I believe...

Go with some sort of VORTEX. American made, phenomenal customer service.

Yeah I obviously would have gone RMR, but for the first glock ever, I figured ok to learn on the vortex and swipe out eventually if needed. Solid choice for a pistol given the ~50% cheaper cost. The Vortex venom usually runs $250 or so

I'm aware of the ATF papers... However, unfortunately the pistol pictured broke into a thousand pieces.
