I am taking a page from Marcus Aurelius and the Stoics - I will control the things I can control and not let the rest weigh me down. So I am organizing groups locally to start small. Ensuring I know my neighbors and who I need to watch out for, and who I can rely on if stuff hits the fan.

I am ensuring my family is cared for and we are prepped for what is to come spiritually and materially (food storage, security, commo plans in case of disaster).

I am not counting on Trump at this point. The man fought harder than anyone. He did what he could with what he had. Remember, he was never a politician. He did his best and now it is our turn to pick up the banner. He deserves to ride off into the sunset and enjoy the life he put on hold to help us.

The next leader of the movement might be someone here on this board. Might be Noem, maybe desantis, maybe hawley or Cruz. I can't control that though so I am waiting to see what happens next.

For social media, I am just following a few good ones. Jack Posobiec, Richard Barris (peoples pundit) etc.

For media, I ended cable news long ago and never looked back. Primary sources only now.

I watch War Room Pandemic, and really like Bannon, and I listen to Levin and Rush.

This keeps me optimistic.

I also study history. Trump ending the deep state in one or two terms was never likely. That is a generational fight. The left has crawled into our institutions over the last century. We will not root them out quickly, but we can push back.

Maybe I will run for office, maybe I will just write from the anonymity of a keyboard, but I will find what I can control and worry about that first.
