Anyone know where we could drop a camp somewhere in DC?
As in PARK, TENTS, SLEEPING BAGS, Fire would be nice but not expected.

I wouldn't want to sleep in the open like that without any cover. Jan 6th has potential to turn crazy, especially at night
Anywhere! All you have to do is "be homeless" and you can camp on the sidewalk!
Just bring a tent anyway. I doubt there will be any hotel rooms left.
DC is a cesspool, don't plan on sleeping anywhere outside without being harrased and robbed by drug addicts. PG County MD is just as bad, safest place would be to cross back into Virginia if you plan on camping...but also remember 2/3 of DC and surrounding area is national park and park police have federal jurisdiction and patrol everywhere. Stay safe frens.
You need to set up defensible positions, so yeah, camping equipment
