The server that was banned was not officially affiliated with us, and our server remains up.
When Discord bans a server, it normally also bans all members (regardless of whether or not the individuals did anything more than join the server), and that appears to have happened here.
We have known for years that Discord is a typical leftist company. No surprise.
We will also continue to explore self-hosted alternatives to our Discord server (which, again, remains up at this time).
Open to suggestions. Looking for something that is proven to scale to thousands of concurrent users, and preferably a group/guild/server system like Discord has (versus Slack, where it's just one group)
Wouldn't something like TeamSpeak do? Though, i Know discord is free, and TS, you need to pay for a server or host one yourself after buying a license. No idea on scaling for size of this community. Worth looking into?
