death of a thousand cuts

62
Amaroq64 62 points ago +62 / -0

And it seems like our gun culture is eager to please them too.

I get that owning one is a big responsibility, especially if you're going to be concealed carrying it. But it seems like our gun culture embraces, or at least submits to, the overbearing burden of proof you have to go through if you ever have to use it, because gun owners are so desperate to prove that they're the good guys.

It can't be done. Nothing can please the people who want to take away our 2nd amendment rights. Gun owners will always be guilty until proven innocent until Americans aren't allowed to be gun owners anymore.

4
BlackPillBot 4 points ago +4 / -0

It’s actually way worse than that. At least if it were cuts, and there was some physical pain involved I could understand our submission a little better. It’s actually death by a thousand strokes of a pen. It’s really sad when you think about how fucking conditioned, and submissive we’ve all become. Too many of us are still far to fat, and happy to actually give a fuck, but I think, and hope that this “election” may have been the turning point for many people.

Some states are duty to inform.

44
rma92 44 points ago +44 / -0

Look this up before going into a state. https://handgunlaw.us/ is a decent resource.

17
TaxDollarsHardAtWork 17 points ago +17 / -0

Check the local laws before traveling. Don't be surprised.

10
Doth 10 points ago +12 / -2

Meaning you're expected to proactively inform the officer that you have a weapon even if he's talking really fast.

5
RusskiOp_R76 5 points ago +5 / -0

If you're flying in and landing in VA, or just on the VA side, Virginia is not a duty to inform state. You don't have to tell anyone shit.

4
Rufus_Shinra 4 points ago +4 / -0

Don't ever inform that you have a gun in the car. A relative of mine did that bc he's required to in the state he lives in. Cop pulled his gun, got him outta the car, handcuffed him on the ground, called in backup and they strip searched him and ransacked his car. Never give any info you don't have to.

And when that cop asks you that, you don't have to answer. Even when pulled over, you don't have to talk to them. When they ask you shit like that or the infamous "Do you know why I pulled you over?" you don't have to say a thing.

6
CuomoisaMassMurderer 6 points ago +7 / -1

Ok so if they ask, you always tell all? This needs to be considered carefully along with preparing for this trip.

SleeperAg20 51 points ago +52 / -1

Keep your mouth shut. Do not volunteer any information. Only answer the question they ask. DO NOT consent to search your body or vehicle. Why? If they have probable cause they won't ask you, they just do it. They're asking you for permission because they DONT have probable cause.

If they tell you to step out of your car then do it. It's very common officers ask you to step out for his safety. Easily justify. DO NOT resist, you're going to get shot for nothing.

You're not going to win. Even if you shoot that cop and drive away, they'll hunt you down. The best thing to do at that moment of time is do what they ask. Dont give them any extra info or give them permission to do anything.

Yes, Yes, No.

1). They always ask for permission: Yes

  1. Permission is a lot easier to articulate than probable cause (PC): Yes

  2. Asking does not mean lack probable cause: No.

3A) If they have probable cause and ask your permission any way, 99% they're bluffing.

3B) If they do in fact have probable cause and asked your permission. You refused. They pulled you out the car anyway. You complied. It doesn't "hurt" your situation anymore by refusing to grant permission if they have PC.

Hence, I reiterate do not resist.

3C). Point is you don't know if they actually have PC or not. However, it's always better to not give police more reason to detain you any longer than reasonable. What is reasonable, length of time, depend on the nature of the stop and the interaction.

Again, comply with their direction but don't give them extra info.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +3 / -1

You know if they have probable cause.

Nothing any of us will be doing will give anyone probable cause.

5
CuomoisaMassMurderer 5 points ago +5 / -0

You're forgetting that to this event, we travel in numbers large enough that we heavily outnumber anyone that might try to interfere.

How that might (or might not) affect this protocol I'm not saying, but it's a substantial factor

  1. I don't know the reference to Babylon.

  2. Cops don't serve the people. You need to go read their job description.

  3. "...They exist to oppress you..", Mwahahaha... Gun owners are ignorants and hypocrites just as much as Antifa.

3a- Gun owners calling police traitors are like liberals calling "guns" responsible for homicide. A gun by itself cannot commit any crime. A cop by himself, without his employer, wont oppress anyone. So, saying it's "the gun's fault" is like saying "it's the cop's fault".

4). I challenge anyone in here to give up your job, family livelyhood, your retirement, your kids safety and security, for MY RIGHTS right now. If you refused then I'll call you a faggot and a traitor.

I'm doing to you what you're doing to cops. If you're honest then 99.9% of you will say "Fuck no, I'm not sacrificing my family for a complete stranger". So, you're asking cops to throw away their family lives but you refused to the same for another. OK, keep screaming about how cops oppresses you.

What true is there will be a very small amount of people who will sacrifice their lives and fortune for the fellow men. The same small amount of cops will quit their job instead of enforcing unjust laws.

May be, instead of calling cops name and being an ignorant hypocrite, people could learn how to deal with cops and manipulate the system in their favor.

A smart Pede would do that, or just continue being ignorant. I don't give a fuck.

I haven't gotten pulled over as many times as you, but I would recommend just being respectful, don't reach, and don't be a bitch. Most all cops are reasonable people, you can talk to them like a real person instead of a dictator. You don't have act like you fucking george fentanyl floyd for fucks sake.

Your milage may vary in DC

79
GoingCamaro 79 points ago +79 / -0

More importantly, do NOT pull over in the middle of nowhere. If you see rollers, call 911, identify yourself and proceed to the nearest gas station. Make sure you park near cameras.

Cop or not, do not trust them in the middle of butt fuck nowhere. No, they cannot penalize you for valuing your safety over their convenience.

41
chez_blunts 41 points ago +41 / -0

This is especially true because the person pulling you over might not even be a cop. They could be some psycho killer pretending to be a cop. Ted Bundy pretended to be a cop as a ruse.

2
Farage_massage 2 points ago +2 / -0

Never trust a cop. Ever. Their job When pulling you over is not to benefit you.

1
GoingCamaro 1 point ago +1 / -0

Warning me about doing 90 at night is dangerous cause cows and not giving me a ticket seemed like a benefit to me...

2
VinceFoster101 2 points ago +4 / -2

In the '80s or '90s there was a cop raping women (possibly killing them -- can't remember) in San Diego. He would pull them over in a dark off ramp where nobody would see it. Do the deed and leave.

I'm not sure how well the cop will appreciate the 911 call because of the com delays versus pulling over immediately. Either way, make sure the public can see the interaction. Areas with cameras would be good, but driving 5-10 miles with a squad-car lights behind you might tick the cop off.

1
GoingCamaro 1 point ago +1 / -0

Doesn't matter. They aren't entitled to immediate cooperation. You pulling over is an agreement to a business transaction. You are allowed to pick a place safer for both of you.

I act like a total dickhead to cops, but not at a traffic stop. But at the range? Fuck them all. "b-b-b-ut most of us sympathize with you" Yeah, right, when the call comes out to clamp down and escort the Bill of Rights to the execution block, you will be skipping right along with the rest of the Gestapo rationalizing it as "just following orders" and my favorite cop excuse "because it's the LAW".

the tyranny of the law is not the law itself but its unequal application

9
Notcommie 9 points ago +11 / -2

Same pretty much, before I'm even asked to provide ID I reach and pull it out as fast as possible then if I happen to have a large quantity of fentanyl on me I ingest it and go into a blind rage.

I treat all cops the way they deserve when I get pulled over, which is rare. That they are wasting my time and money. Because that’s what they are doing. I keep my insurance above my visor and my license in my front pocket. I will not turn a vehicle off unless it is nice outside. I don’t turn on any lights, at night they are going to power trip and shine their light in your face anyway. I don’t make their job any easier because they don’t do anything to make my life any easier. If the vast majority, and I’m talking 97%+, weren’t pussies we wouldn’t be in this mess. The fact is that they are and all they care about is themselves, their benefits and their pension when it comes down to it. They will choose that almost every time over following the constitution and protecting the rights of the people. The state is their master and they will get down on both knees in a heartbeat if their benefits are at risk.

mainsoda 7 points ago +8 / -1

I wish I didn't agree with this because it wasn't true, but I do and it is.

6
BlackPillBot 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yup, but MUH THIN BLUE LINE. 🤣 Blue line dick suckers here are the worst IMHO. If the reaction to the last few months events by LEO all around the country haven’t woken people up to the truth, nothing will. You are on your own, and if you dare to do the job of enforcing and following the constitution, they will make you pay. You may beat the rap, but you won’t beat the ride that the state and the media put you though. Remember, the process is the punishment.

Contrary to the popular belief here, LEO are not our friends. They are the HR department for the government on steroids. If you’re an exemplary citizen/employee that somehow causes any type of stress/heartache for the government/company, they will do everything in their power to destroy you even if what you are doing is morally right and/or makes them follow their own company polices, that they refuse to abide by(oath to the constitution). This is often done in order to save/siphon money and/or protect other protected class employees/citizens while establishing more control and power over anyone willing to stand up for themselves. Don’t believe me, just look at what has gone on since chyna flu/Fent Floyd has gone on. Even before that, look what has been done to GEOTUS, Flynn, and Stone among others. It’s blatantly obvious.

There is also the issue of job security. Self reliance by citizens is not in the PD's own best interest so they'll come down on any citizen doing for themselves, orders or not. They're no different from any other government agency that require people to be totally reliant on them for their own selfish interests. Unfortunately when the third world is running wild in the first world, first world justice is no longer applicable. Add the fact that the “justice” system has been subverted and isn’t and can no longer work as intended, and we live in 🤡🌎. The justice system and its “enforcers” have proven time and time again that they actually protect the morally corrupt criminals from the moral law abiding citizenry while at the same time penalizing and arresting them for enforcing morality that the state refuses to. We all have to stop living in the world the way we wish it was and start living in it the way it actually is. 🤷🏼‍♂️

My reply to another post on the issue.

“ Go check my history If you still believe I don’t know what the large majority of what street/beat cops deal with. I know all to well the type of animals encounter and general evil and hatred they receive at any given time/encounter. I also never said all cops everywhere are enforcing mask laws all the time. I’m saying there are examples out there even on video where one POS LEO does push the issue and his coworkers back him instead of calling him out on his bullshit. Shame by your peers and equals is a hell of a deterrent, and we have very little of that in many if not all of said cases. These are the LEOs that make up the majority of the problem in this country IMHO. It’s not the ones we see and witness doing the actual unconstitutional and cowardice acts, but the ones who just stand by and allow it to happen, and that makes up at least, and I think I’m being kind with this figure, 50% of LEO that participate in the system in any capacity from the top to the bottom. I’m talking Judges, DAs, and all the way down to street level LEOs.

I know you’re not going to like this, but the agnostic/fence sitting LEOs are not the only reason, but a huge part of the reason they are in the situation they’re in now IMHO. They thought they were going to be able to just keep on coasting by without picking the side of morality and their oath to the constitution and that their elected communists masters wouldn’t throw them under the bus. THEY WERE WRONG!!! They made their bed and now they’re are being forced to lie in it, unfortunately many good moral LACs are suffering because of it also, and I’m sure there will be many more. You will never understand how difficult it is for me to say these things, but I never avoid the harsh unapologetic truths.

I’m not happy about the state of affairs in this country, but I understand why it is happening, and why it had to happen, and I’m just glad it happened sooner than later so we actually still have a chance to correct it.“

Mark 3 points ago +6 / -3

Follow all traffic regs and they don't have a reason to pull you over..if they still pull you over, they are fishing and crooked..Also, before you leave home, check marker and tag lights..

5
BlackPillBot 5 points ago +5 / -0

🤣 that’s cute. You actually think you have to give them a reason to pull you over. I’ve got news for you, if they want to get you, they’re going to get you. Yeah, you may beat the rap, but you won’t beat the ride, and the ride is how they really punish you if they want to. Sometime the “ride” is just a little fishing expedition that just wastes a 15 minutes of your time and makes you late for work, but it’s still unacceptable. You seriously act like police officers don’t lie on regular especially when they fuck with the wrong one who embarrasses them on camera. In these cases they very rarely apologize, and almost always double, and triple down once they are proven to be in the wrong making the situation even worse. Remember, it’s ok for them to lie to you, but if you lie to them, they can destroy your life.

Here’s an example that I know goes on regularly because I worked in the system. You weren’t speeding or drifting out of your lane, but they pull you over and say you were to fish a bit. Your word against theirs(THE STATE). Then they always have the option of saying they smell alcohol and/or marijuana and that’s when they can really have a little fun with you if they so choose.

You act like there aren’t thousands of videos out there of this. New flash, there are.

Can we all pretty please stop with this "civilians" horseshit?

The police forces are not the military. They are civilians, just like us.

5

They are civilians, just like us.

No they aren't. They are absolutely human beings and should be given the general courtesy that you would give anyone but they are NOT civilians just like us. Their position of authority gives them special privileges and rights that we do not get. Calling them "civilian" just nullifies the definition of "civilian"

That's such bullshit.

The police have no right to handcuff us so that they feel safer.

This was in 2011 when I took the class. He said it was better to not tell them right away that you have a gun because that could make them freak out and turn a routine stop into a big production. Telling the cop you have a gun on you might make the cop cuff but might not. The instructor basically was giving us a heads up that the police are not always going to be cool with you tellling them you are armed.
