A good grey man conveys no information about you whatsoever. Nobody can tell what you believe, what side you’re on, what you’re carrying, if you’re carrying at all. Nobody can gauge your character or temperament to find an exploit. Nobody can tell for sure if you are an enemy. You don’t give anyone any information they can use against you. The only information you MIGHT convey is to other grey men who recognize what you’re doing, but even they won’t know for sure if you’re grey on purpose.
