Work in a restaurant, see thousands of customers every week. I'm in the kitchen and can't be seen 99% of the time, so I don't wear a mask. Nobody does. Literally only wear them when the customers can see us because we're in a shithole blue state.
Every time I meet an actual hard working citizen, they don't wear masks 98% of the time.
I usually start out by asking "Do you shake hands or no?" and then when they do, I say "You can take off the mask if you don't want to wear it."
You can generally tell if someone believes in this whole pandemic if they are willing to come up and shake your hand.
