Shit like this helps remind us that freedom isn't free, common sense isn't common, and hard work is hard.

Thank you for serving and protecting our freedoms. Thanks to all who have served--for those who risked their lives to give us the ability to continue with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. For those who didn't make it home, thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. For those who did make it home, I can only imagine how difficult assimilation back into civilian life is.
