My wife is going to government training soon and they will have her quarantined for 10 days. She has to stay in small dorm room and have lunch delivered to her room in a bag. Then she can walk with two of her other employees only to an empty canteen. She cant leave the grounds until after her multiple month training is over. This is not even the military. What the fuck! She is not ill. She is healthy. I am so sickened by this shit.

Can this be training be done remotely?

Maybe it already is? Does not hurt to ask?

So much learning and meeting is remote now.

Perhaps she can have a doctor say that is necessary for her, as the mask is not medically prudent for her.

If they give you trouble, and she is already on staff, such denial might be discriminatory.

And she has a right to medical privacy under HIPPA or something.

Unfortunately it can’t be done remotely. That’s a good idea about getting a note from her doc about it not being prudent but I think it’s one of those things that it’s I’ll advised to be the odd one out. I’m kinda pissed I didn’t think of mentioning the docs note earlier to her. She leaves right after Christmas so little time

What would she say to the doc though?

It can be a shrink doc. It can be about stress to her mentality and stress to her marriage. That sounds absolutely real and no lie, from what you are saying.

Not to mention that she’ll be required to have a mask on 24/7 outside of her dorm room.
