Let me be clear: I am not against a person protecting/defending themselves. I am talking specifically to the people who are saying that depending on which way it goes that day, it will be the start of the civil war, and Trump meant he wanted a civil war by saying "will be wild". That's not what he meant and starting a civil war at this rally is a terrible idea. I understand you're angry. Everyone is. But from what I have seen, it's very clear many of you have not thought this through and we need to stop this before it goes too far.

-The 6th is not the end of the line. We have until January 20th. Trump's legal team has been very clear about two things: 1. January 20th is the day to worry about, but even then, WORST case scenario is Pelosi sits in as president until this is sorted out. 2. They still have legal routes to take, and will pursue those. They hope to overturn the election through their legal paths, NOT through the insurrection act. Insurrection act is in the event they have exhausted all other options.

-January 6th is when congress certify the votes.

-The rally/protest on the 6th is meant to put pressure on congress to do the right thing.

-Trump saying "will be wild" is NOT some kind of secret code asking us to begin a civil war if things don't work in our favor on January 6th.

-Making this assumption and acting out on it is very, very, very stupid and very, very, very dangerous.

-The people on the don are a tiny fraction of Trump's supporters. While you guys are hyped up for a civil war, the rest of his supporters may not be.

There are several reasons to have complete confidence that a civil war is not what Trump intends/wants to happen on the 6th:

-Trump made a vague invitation to his supporters. Not specifically those who are well-armed/well-trained. He knows there will be numerous elderly people, handicapped/disabled people, women, families, children, etc attending the protest.

-Trump would not invite his supporters to what they believe is a rally/protest, only for him to turn around and say "Glad you guys made it! So we're actually starting a civil war that starts right now!". I don't know why you would want to start a war knowing your side is full of people who are not prepared/unable/unwilling to fight, many of which would be against their will, with zero warning. That is incredibly dangerous and, quite frankly, very stupid.

-We do not know who is attending this rally. Those who may be armed are not going to be in cahoots with every other person who is armed. You are going into this completely unorganized and with zero strategy, which is horrifically stupid.

-Having this rally be the first battle for Civil War II would result in excess loss of life on both sides. It is NOT FAIR to assume everyone around you is ready to die for their country like you are. In America, we let people choose to join the military. In the event that there is a draft, you would not be invited to a party and told to begin a war with ZERO training, ZERO knowledge of strategy, ZERO experience, NO means of defending yourself, etc. You would have knowledge beforehand and you would get some kind of training.

-Trump would NEVER ask for a civil war with the logistics.

-Setting a precedent where Trump using an adjective means "civil war starts now!" is a terrible idea. If you are intending to shed blood and put it on Trump you better have 100%, absolute confirmation that that was actually Trump's orders (NOT "but he said will be wild!! what else could that mean???"). If he has not said something to the tune of "those who are willing to fight for our freedom, please arm yourself and do xyz to join with our great military in defending the Republic from traitors", get the "omg we're going to war!" excitement out of your head so you don't do anything stupid.

-As stated, the 6th is not the end of the line. Starting a civil war right now would ONLY hurt Trump. I am sure if he knew this was your plan, he would beg you to stop. If this was the 20th and Trump is calling to mobilize people to fight, that's a different story.

-If Trump wanted something like this, he could call for the insurrection act in which case armed militias could be utilized.

-They specifically said they DO NOT WANT THE INSURRECTION ACT RIGHT NOW. They have other options. Let Trump take those routes.

Starting this on the 6th would NOT work in our favor. Trump would NOT be happy about it. This would throw a wrench in his entire plan and royally fuck everything up beyond repair. If you're going to do shit like this, wait until you know 100% for certain there is no other option (AFTER JANUARY 20). Again, I am not against anyone defending themselves against twig-armed leftists that beat people with bike locks, but that is ENTIRELY different from starting a war. After everything Trump has done for our country, do not fuck him over. Do not pull the rug out from under his feet. You wait for his call. His ACTUAL call, not some cryptic tweet you interpreted wrong and never got confirmation on.

Then don't. I'll nutshell it for you: You're clinically retarded if you go to the protest on the 6th with the means and intention of starting a civil war if it doesn't go your way.

It’s hilarious to me that women want all of the rights of citizenship without any of the responsibilities. Ex: the requirement for them to sign up for selective service or else have their lives ruined (doesn’t exist for this protected class), but they still feel like they can spout out bullshit like the OP here. I’m just going to assume she’s a Democrat trying to soften us up. Fuck her
