This is a company that is pretty much the modern day banking system as most payments are digital. They took it upon themselves to ban the use of the modern digital use of money transfer. Yes there may be other payment methods like Paypal etc. but we have seen how big tech act as one in many cases and it wont be long until they learn they can wield the power to choose which companies can and can not operate. If you site Pornhub was allowing the posting of illegal media fine, but it claims to be a platform just like Youtube and Facebook and illegal stuff is posted on those sites as well by users. So why is a company able to enforce its own "law" shouldn't the content be tied to the user and not the platform? It starts here on a target many people are ok with being a target, but will it grow legs to other less spicy companies in the future?

This goes back to the Obama administration's "know your customer". The list included payday lenders, pawn shops, casinos, horse racing, prostitution (even where it is legal), pornographic sites, ammunition sales sites and firearms. McMillan even started a bank for gun dealers so they could get financing they needed to maintain inventory. If you like guns, allow people to bet at the casino or watch porn so long as all is legal.

Both those companies have ALREADY targeted conservatives. This isn't a slippery slope, it's the bottom of the ditch guys.

My guess is what not "porn" but whose porn. Porn hub was accused of having child porn up on the site, "complied' by deleting some posts, Hunter's maybe? I think there was more to this.

Last word is they are deleting child porn as best they could. It may be a long and difficult job, and if they cannot get it off then they should be held accountable.

I agree, the fact that Hunter posted his gems there and it would be in Biden's best interest to get them down may be coincidental. Or not :)

I'm surprised more people aren't speaking out about this. They start with something that a lot of people may look sideways at but then will let slide because it is porn and not everyone's "cup of tea" so to speak.. But what's next?

This case isn't even a slippery slope, these companies have already worked to target conservatives before this, let alone pornhub.

A) Yes it should concern everyone because economic freedom is being attacked.

B) Pornhub bought this on themselves by having a a system where people upload child porn and sex trafficking on site. They should have worked with legit porn companies and not had "amateurs" uploading on the site who are unverified.

Just one of the cases Pornhub got entangled with and have never made moves to at least look like they're correcting things.

You miss the point completely and are tunnel visioning that its a porn site. I point to people with your view point in my post as well. It starts with this site but it can spread to other companies.

Correct. This credit card problem targets multiple industries, not limited to porn or guns.

Yeah but that's like cutting off someones phone service. Why the fuck can visa and mastercard ban people from basically living. Fuck it. Crypto is the way forward.

A simple rule to live by, If you don't like your rights stepped on due to someone else's morals don't step on the rights of others due to your own morals. This is why we have laws to live by.
