I'll overlook the l 'psycho' comment this once on top of these ' call of duty' and game references to say this, ; just because this may be either a protest come the sixth or a victory party,, just because it's DC doesn't invalidate your right for self-protection, and ANTIFA/BLM is bringing all the riot gear they can buy to try to hurt us.
All i'm saying is, we need SOME WAY to stop them from doing that, because I doubt anyone wants repeats of the denver/portland incident where innocent people died and their deaths celebrated. If we can push them back, fine, but they're going to ramp up their efforts, and it may happen again, and we ALL don't want that happening.

I may have come across as terse. My apologies. There have been FLOODS of people demanding that people be lined up and shot. Or that we invoke Martial Law and start executing people and now we have people that demand weapons be brought in the capitol.
It looks bad. Really bad. We have to use our heads. We cannot demand that laws be upheld when we're choosing to ignore/break them when they don't suit us. You either follow the law, or you don't.
This is a serious thing. Bringing weapons into the capitol. That's an auto 5 years and felony conviction. There may come a time for armed conflict, but I don't think this is the time. This isn't the hill to die on.
This also plays into the enemies hands since this would be a valid reason to shut the city down and mass arrest/kick out everyone. And if the protest is infiltrated and some ANTIFA/BLM starts popping shots, the cops will get real edgy and might open fire. They wouldn't be as itchy if people were unarmed.
Again, apologies if I came off as overly aggressive. With the level of wanton calls of violence, I firmly believe that there are some that literally just want to kill people and they see this as their avenue to achieve that goal. I'm not saying you, but I get the feeling there are some on here.
People are going to do what they're going to do. I'm not telling anyone to do anything. If they want to bring guns in, that's on them. But there are very real consequences that come with that. Think really hard before acting.

I'm still of the idea that innocent marchers SHOULD be protected, but it's not worth the paddywagon, I agree. We need cooler solutions, a compromise to this.
