As a Carlin fan that actually got see him live right before he died, I 100% agree with you.

Saw George with my Dad in Vegas before he died as well. To this day I never laughed so hard in my life, my ribs hurt for days.

Bullshit. Listen, Carlin had some very funny takes. He is legendary. But you and the other commenters pretending he was even-handed are in denial or just full of shit regarding how much of a full blown leftist cuck he was. He was not even-handed. He never criticized the Left, only the right. As shrewd as he was in so many senses, he was still very much a retarded boomer falling for the “republicans bad democrats good” meme. He was funny enough that I won’t say he was just an old faggot, but he kinda was just an old faggot.

Sticky 16 points ago +18 / -2

You nailed it. Plus his stupid bullshti about how women would be better leaders and not cause wars.

BeefyBelisarius 5 points ago +5 / -0

Fun fact: queens were 27% more likely to start a war than kings were.

Thank you. George didn’t pull punches for anybody.

I have never once been in danger of laughing at anything that's ever come out of George Carlin's mouth. He's just your stock standard useless old faggot. Only this dumb old faggot gets paid six figures to run at the mouth in front of a microphone.

Why in the front flipping fuck anyone ever paid this twit to yell the blatantly obvious at people in the most unfunny ways possible is beyond me.

When he was on Bill Mahler's show, he supported looting during Hurricane Katrina, whined about muh fascism and rich white men.

slowmotrin 10 points ago +10 / -0

Exactly, plus look at some of the tapes he did outside of his stand ups. He was a complete male feminist, constantly bought into their talking points about how women would be better off ruling the world and blah blah blah. just because he had some good bits on political correctness, and free speech, doesn't mean that he was a right winger or that he would have supported Trump or our movement. In fact, I could see him selling out just as much as the other edgy comedians of his time did.

11
Sticky 11 points ago +12 / -1

His feminist bullshit is what turned me off.

Carlin has some good rants but he was a libtard.

FOUR_MORE_TERMS 6 points ago +6 / -0

Being against political correctness in the 80s and 90s was like being openly racist in the 20s and 30s. People wanna act like he was taking some brave stand. That shit wasn't mainstream back then. And woke capitalism wasn't nearly what it is today.

Oh wow he poked fun at environmentalists with generic jokes. So based and redpilled! Now push more degeneracy. Push atheism. Push diversity. Push feminism and drug use and a mindset of "everything sucks".

Carlin was a self righteous libtard who i am yet to hear one funny thing from. Overrated and cheap, sophomoric humor. DAE being proud of your heritage is rathict? Duuurrr white people are so arrogant, durrrr im one of the good white people. Queue mindless clapping seal retards. Give me a break

Scroon 20 points ago +21 / -1

Yup. Carlin was a great performer, but if you really look at what he's saying and how he's saying it, he was just a disgruntled left-tard who made a living off of endlessly complaining about things he never lifted a finger to change. Typical ultra-liberal behavior.

How so?

11
mrsucko 11 points ago +11 / -0

I'd say watch his last few specials. I wouldn't go so far to say he was a full Commie, but he definitely hated Republicans and a lot of conservatives. I still love him for waking me up though.

9
Licensetomeme 9 points ago +9 / -0

Republican politicians or just the people? Because there's a yuge difference.

4
Quiet_Lib 4 points ago +8 / -4

He disliked hypocrisy, didn't matter if you were conservative or not. That's why he's a legend, he called out both sides on their bullshit and was largely right.

"It's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it." That's a straight down the middle call for everyone to wake the hell up.

1
mrsucko 1 point ago +1 / -0

I take it you've never watched his political material? You should. I don't want to mis-quote Carlin either. It's been a few years since I've watched his stuff.

7
Scroon 7 points ago +7 / -0

Commies wake people up because they want to use them to attack the existing socio-political power structure. Once the commies get in control, they then switch their game to keeping you in a trance.

Prime example is The Daily Show.

Dude watch that special from the '90s, where he's ranting on about how anti-abortion means anti-woman automatically. The dude was a left-wing nut with a handful of good ideas. Just because he found a way to make comedy intellectual doesn't mean that he wasn't a liberal.

He hated leftists, too. Ultra conservatives are just as bad as leftists. They just come from a different direction. Carlin was against authoritarianism, censorship, and political correctness. Authoritarianism is still authoritarianism regardless of which side of the political spectrum it came from. Censorship is still censorship, too.

5
IAmtheGodWarrior 5 points ago +5 / -0

Can you link me an anti-leftist bit of his? I was a Carlin fan in my teens. I don’t recall anything but shitting on the right as far as his political takes.

No, no they're not. Just because Carlin told you so doesn't make it true.

9
TrumpIsTheVictor 9 points ago +10 / -1

Watch his appearances on Bill Maher. He went full libtard.

Sad to see. He is still a legend though. One of my favorites.

8
BarronsteinBears 8 points ago +9 / -1

In his defense, Conservatism was full retard during the Bush years.

1
Licensetomeme 1 point ago +1 / -0

For real? That's a shame. I should watch it.

Yea, I was a Carlin fan in my High School years, but looking back at it -

Carlin's an Anarchist. As smart and witty as he was, he wanted anarchy.

Ain't no wisdom in dat~

He wouldn’t have kept getting HBO specials if he didn’t.
