I had to read about the job when I saw the comment, it is cool. I've only worked around smaller ammonia and freon systems on commercial fishing boats, an entire stadium though? Awesome.

First part of the plan was subdue the population with cheap luxury (TVs, internet, shit entertainment)...

That’s my perspective on it - I paid far more than that in income taxes alone for 2019, so they’re just giving me back $1800 of my own money this year.
It’s redistribution. You pay far more than you get back, while some welfare queen with her 12 children get $1800 each while paying nothing into the system.
And we pay Shaniqua to do the paperwork.
I know, I’m just trying to take what solace I can in getting some of my money back. Takes (some) of the edge off when I check other forums and see people celebrating being able to blow their stimulus check on a PS5 or Baby Yoda shit or a couple ABUR duals or some other fucking nonsense.
Also enslaving our children and grandchildren to the debters.

Hearing other people talk shit about Infosys and the other consultant firms makes me so happy. These mega conglomerate consulting firms are all fucking garbage and only reward the most corrupt who can't even perform capably. I have friends who worked for those companies and I'm glad I never got involved and went straight to smaller companies to apply.
It's only going to get worse; now that all those jobs are online (and will be forever even post lockdown) outsourcing has few disadvantages (if any), and some of those jobs will be eaten by automation well before robot burger flippers become mainstream.
