Really though without supply lines nothing major could happen. A gun and a couple magazines won't do much against people who have hundreds of thousands of rounds.

I think the point is a gun and a couple magazines x the number of patriots that show up will be thousands upon thousands of rounds, and there is no way in hell whatever law enforcement they have there could easily go up against even 50 armed people at once, let alone hundreds. There is force in numbers. Some random LEO with a rifle and thousands of rounds is nothing against a large group with rifles and a few hundred rounds each.

Let me know when they get there in a couple days and attempt to clear the entirety of DC. This is all hypothetical though since Trump will win, but they are not so nicely fitted out that they could take hostile thousands of armed people in a concentrated area.
