Capitol police will do for DC what the LAPD did for LA during the Rodney King riots, and every BLM burndown event: cordon off the riot area, and try to prevent outsiders from coming in. Capitol won't be enforcing laws, except for the stragglers they can pick off on the edges.
The real security will be the federal officers - the US Marshalls, Secret Service, and any private security licensed to operate there. They will be guarding the lives of the politicians. They aren't there to abrogate your 2A rights to bear arms.
I have now worries about 2A support right now. 97-98% of those showing up doing the CCW thing won't have any confrontations for breaking DC's strict CC laws. There will be too many there.

The movers and shakers behind the globalist movement have been laughing at our "Republic", because they took a man with no credible US citizenship and a forged birth certificate, and installed him as President...twice...and America didn't blanch once about it.
It's only now dawning on the American public that we've glibly, naively, and arrogantly gone along with this electronic voting import from Chavez, and the highest office of this country is but a bought and sold commodity. The sole exception is Trump, and they are fighting hard to rid the US and the world of him.
