One is action, the other is personal.
If you want to lose weight, you gotta take action. Prayer can get your mind right but isn't going to lose the weight.
Pray BUT recognize that ACTION (not necessarily violence) is what gets things done.
I pray they go quickly and with as little pain as possible, amen.
I'm not advocating for gun battles but what if the answer to your prayer was a gun battle? is that ok?

I think we operate on different wavelengths. I don't plan on ever getting in a gun battle but I know for sure if I thought god was telling me to get in one I would be checking myself into the psych ward.

what are you talking about? if you are in the military and you end up in a gun fight i dont think its because god told you to do it. it probably has more to do with joining and training and being sent to battle.

Pretty sure God calls people into gun battles. But he calls them to prayer and faith first.
So, you're saying we could have just skipped WWII if we prayed harder? How about all the Jews? They were very religious people... ask them how that worked out.
Those were evil people, just like Democrats, Commies, and the Deep State. They are beyond redemption of salvation. They only believe in violence, suffering, and control. If we want to get through to them, you must speak their language.
Also, what makes you so sure God would be on your side? Who are you to say what God wants? This is about OUR freedom. The bible says nothing about the second amendment, or the first, or ANY in the constitution for that matter. As a matter of fact, some things go AGAINST what the bible would suggest. The constitution grants us the right to freedom of religion. You're encouraged to worship Satan if that's what makes you happy. It literally gives people that right. What about people who don't subscribe to ANY religion? I'm pretty sure God wouldn't agree with those things. There are MANY people who are not Christians, who LOVE our country and would do ANYTHING to preserve it. By suggesting that everyone should turn toward God, are you disagreeing with that right, and therefore the constitution?
What if we just rolled over and accepted communism without a fight? Nowhere is it explicitly stated that communism is evil. I sure as hell isn't compatible with the idea of America, though. We could go quietly without a fight an just accept it. That could possibly be the easiest and least violent way to go. Surely God would prefer peace, right? Well, peace is GOOD, but I prefer the alternative over communist rule. If blood must be shed to honor our country and those who died to protect it, then so be it.
These are the problems of men, and the situation is complicated. Many of the issues are not inherently good OR evil, they are just freedoms we desire as Americans. Ones that good men have fought and DIED to preserve. We are fighting for OUR rights as citizens. We are fighting for the wisdom of our forefathers. The time for prayer was before and during the election... and obviously that didn't work. Now is time for ACTION.
