I gotta ask... is there a reason we believe that Parler or MeWe are any better/different? Are we not just creating a database of known conservatives for the left to target?
I don’t necessarily trust the leaders of these companies just because they say, “Trust me; we’re not like them.”
That's a good point, MeWe has a history of openness to free speech but that does not comfort me at all as they could change going forward. Parler's principal owner is a known conservative who has been interviewed by Dan Bongino.
