I think Pence is going to refuse to count the contested States. The obvious reaction from the left would be massive outrage and a call to storm the White House or where ever in D.C. They can't do that if there is a massive presence of Trump supporters there.
10 million patriots would be nice.
True, that story of them backing down for fear of civil unrest was WAY under reported and this is the perfect counter measure.
