I like it too, but if we are applying video game review logic to the vaccines.....
Kinda disagree. I've been playing on PC and don't get me wrong, it's a pretty game, but I find it hard to believe that this is supposed to be a next-gen game. Feels so linear and the AI sucks balls. RDR2 blows this game out of the water. At least the interactions with the NPCs in that game are unique and organic. The best things about this game are the environment, story, characters, and Keanu Reeves.
It gets old when every hyped game seems to get backlash for stupid shit, but this game was pretty disappointing for supposedly being a next-gen game and after being delayed for so long. This launch is on par with Fallout 76 for me.
That's fine, but why? Most of the dialogue doesn't even matter, the lifepaths are basically just extra dialogue that doesn't really make any difference or add anything except extra backstory from what I can tell. The best thing is beautiful Night City, the lore and the characters. Sorry, but Rockstar still seems to do a better job at making immersive games. Feels very disingenuous of CDPR to release this game in its current state, but I guess the pressure was too much after delaying so many times.
I think I can get behind pretty much everything you've said. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. If they fixed the AI a little i'd be happy. What life path did you choose in the beginning and also, what settings do you use on PC?

I'm also running it on Ryzen 7 3700x and a 2070 Super. I just find it hard to believe that this is a next gen game. It's just a very pretty, buggy game. The police don't even chase after you, the NPCs barely interact with you, the HDR sucks balls, so this isn't just a console gag thing
