Not to throw cold water here, but when our Greatest Generation got back, they allowed the Left to win on the McCarthy Hearings, which set the stage for the massive Soviet influence which gave us the Hippies, which has led to DIRECTLY to the nightmare we're now living through. We had laws against Communist activities...but got cold feet in enforcing them - now we may not survive as a country because of it.
