You guys, I am so frustrated. My in-laws do not want to do Christmas like normal this year. Instead of everyone going one day, they have decided one family will take a day and spread it out over several days. So now we just go celebrate with grandma and grandpa, not all the cousins and my kids are bummed. Is it really any safer if we do this? Seems like it is just more work spreading it out over three days. It truly sucks when your family is cucked. Fortunately, my side of the family is celebrating as always.
Logic seems not to work, but you could point out diplomatically of course that in the scheme you just described, everyone is still a contact of everyone else, you just add one degree of separation in there, so if they are going to resort to the “muh asymptomatic spread!!!” unfalsifiable trump all of your arguments forever card, it’s not helping at all
Edit: wait this is not quite true. The first and second groups wouldn’t have contact with the last. Still theatre though.
