So, I keep seeing stuff about this $600 stimulus. This or that about we are owed or they should tax these people or those people to get it. You are accepting the "sale". You in talking like this have accepted the narrative that our Overlords own us.
Why isn't the conversation how they had no right to do this. That they violated our constitutional rights and forced undo financial burden on us. But no you like Oliver Twist go to the people who CAUSED the problem to beg for more. I know I will get hate for this... But in accepting the premise... you just need to get your collar size to your masters so they don't get you the wrong size.
If it had been a $600 stimulus along with the "15 days to stop the spread", I would have been fine with it. That would have been an appropriate response for an acceptable attempt at stopping the plague. Once it was obvious that it didn't (and would never) work, we should have gone back to business as usual, take basic hygiene precautions (like we should be doing anyway) and let this thing run its course.
We look at Florida, who said "Fuck you" to the lockdowns, and they are better off, in every way, than any locked down blue state.
