If it had been a $600 stimulus along with the "15 days to stop the spread", I would have been fine with it. That would have been an appropriate response for an acceptable attempt at stopping the plague. Once it was obvious that it didn't (and would never) work, we should have gone back to business as usual, take basic hygiene precautions (like we should be doing anyway) and let this thing run its course.
We look at Florida, who said "Fuck you" to the lockdowns, and they are better off, in every way, than any locked down blue state.
