The entire purpose of a court system is to provide a peaceful means to resolve disputes between parties so the parties do not resolve it through violence. In the past there were trials by ordeal. Whoever physically outlasted the other won.
The parties expect to go before a neutral arbiter who will decide it like a baseball umpire. Judges are supposed to look at the facts, evidence and apply the law fairly and without bias, not caring which side wins. A judge is not supposed to identify with one party or be a cheerleader for one against the other.
Imagine playing baseball and it is obvious the umpire is really on the side of the other team. Clearly calling balls strikes against your batters and your runners out when they are safe. Would you continue to play the game or would you walk off the field?
What we have witnessed is a kangaroo court system looking for every poor excuse not to have to look at the evidence in a fair and impartial manner, They do want to get involved either because they are too cowardly to act or are intentionally in on the steal. Regardless of the reason, they are an accessory after the fact to the fraud which makes the courts failing to serve their sole purpose for existing- peacefully resolve disputes.
