I don’t see why people are bitching about a game that is essentially a much better version of Deux Ex. It’s not like they had Rock Star’s hundred million dollar budget.
They're bitching because CDPR is basically the new Blizzard pre-whatever fucked them (some say activision others say it began before that etc). They're known for putting out quality products which garnered them a cult following. Then they hyped the ever loving shit out of this game prematurely busting their nuts with the keanu reveal waaaay too early. It's not just that the game runs like complete dog shit on base console models it's that even on a good rig the game is a buggy piece of shit.

I have a 6 year old rig. Game runs like a dream on highest settings for me. Haven't encountered any game breaking bugs. Only bugs I've seen are weapons/bodies clipping through the ground and some visual glitches.

And GTA 5 was developed on a $250M budget but yeah its mainly the reddit and twitter faggots complaining anyways. Ive been enjoying the hell out of it and most bugs are just funny/amusing
PC? I’m on pc and the game is great despite a few bugs. The last gen console people got fucked mega hard. Like raw dog style. They deserve refunds.
One of the funniest bugs I’ve had is dropped a body I was carrying and the damn thing exploded into guts and goo. I giggled a lot lmao. Oh another good one was watching a t-pose npc climb down a ladder. Good times
And the worst bugs I’ve gotten are that every time I start the game johnny repeats a line and the subtitle glues to screen. Gotta shut off subtitles and turn back on to get rid of. Another one is if you go through beaded curtains the “jingle” sound sticks permanently to your clothes. You have to take all clothes off, save, turn off game, reload and reequip clothes.

The game is amazing, and I don't mind the bugs. The story, the acting, the action and the world are top notch!
I've been pretty lucky bug wise (PC). A few quests where the "wait" prompt didn't come up (fixed by reloading) and a few odd graphic glitches but otherwise no real problems.
Plying on pc and its awesome! Sure, it shouldn't even be available on last Gen systems, but come on people, did you really think your last gen console was gonna handle this beast?
Some are for sure, I have an xbone elite and it handles it really well for it's age. There's a few loading issues, but nothing game breaking. It's still better than most Bethesda games on release.

All “western” style rpgs that launched with lots of bugs and instability. I don’t know if anyone here remembers playing Diablo 1 on PlayStation 1 but wow, what a nightmare lol. But I was just happy to have it.
I want games to improve and release with more stability, but the idea that they’ll be perfect is silly. Fallout 76 wouldn’t be as hated if it wasn’t a mix of bugs / empty content / no story / shitty live service scheme. If it was solid in every aspect but was really buggy, it’d be more popular than it is. See all other Bethesda games like you said.
PS1 Diablo was so frustrating, but it was a precursor to what home consoles would be capable of. I also love that you left Diablo 2 off the list, because that game was nearly flawless for its time. And New Vegas was the biggest mess upon release that I've ever played, and nothing has topped it yet.
Cyberpunk is the living end. The best of fallout, deus ex, gta and more. The few issues I've had don't even begin to approach all the negative press. People are unrealistic, ungrateful and ridiculous. I'm so glad i have this game before Christmas to relax with. But yeah, i get the meme and it's a good one
It's funny, my gaming laptop choked pretty frequently on valhalla but runs cyberpunk like butter - it barely even gets hot on max settings with RTX ray tracing stuff
I had an issue with not being able to select my weapons, but I fast traveled to fix it. That was annoying, but other than that the game runs smoothly on my PC and haven't had any other issues so far.
Anyone remember the choice in Deus Ex Human Revolution where they made a fake recall and you got to choose whether to get the fix from a clinic or not and then it turns out ti was a complete trap? This gives me similar vibes
