Communism makes no sense on the face of it, it flies in the face of human nature. People won't do things they get no benefit from. It forced to do them, they won't put in effort or care about the end results. You can hold a gun to their head but that only works for so long. Even those who push it only do so because they benefit emotionally from the virtue signaling.
