Trump said "protest" as a joke, like calling your Christmas party a protest so you don't get busted. There is no inflection on Twitter, so misinterpretation is easy.
How can anyone disregard what Miller, shaking with emotion, just said to Pence?

I know everyone is worked up and ready to take on the deep state face-to-face, but do you really think a popular uprising is part of Trump's plan? It's too dicey, too unsure to be Trump. Trump plays to WIN, he doesn't leave shit up to chance.
"Let's all take our guns into enemy territory individually and in small groups, all on this widely publicized day" is NOT a Trump plan. He's not a moron. The mayor of DC hates you. She'll close almost every road, bottleneck and disarm you, one by one and group by group. She'll arrest all she has room to jail.
"Let's all meet in Virginia at an undisclosed location, then cross the Potomac in unison, on boat and bridges, fully armed and ready to occupy DC" is a much better plan, but that's not the plan.
Because there is no Trump plan that calls for armed civilian uprising.

There are SO MANY WAYS that bringing a gun to DC will get your life fucked over. There’s zero impact to showing you have a gun while at the protest. What’s important are people showing up.

It's called the MAJORITY! Police can't do shit against millions of people! This needs to be millions! If it gets out of hand, good! Not referring to violence, but if things get rowdy, GOOD! If things get out of hand, will make those politicians will think twice before selling their base out! Guns or no, this needs to be a show of numbers, to represent people who are just not buying this absolute nonsense...When antifa or blm show up, they need to be smashed to the ground.
