How much do you estimate you paid in total tax last year?

Be cautious about pulling all your funds into metals truthfully. As we’ve seen over the past couple years we’ve been in a even or minor deflationary regime. Debt has go up but money in the system hasn’t increased. Because of this people are rightfully worried about inflation, but along this virus has overinflated precious metals. Now that I think about because of the move into heavy metals and the imo overexuberance in retail market I’m not sure how I would hedge this markets downside without options./derivatives. Land is definitely good imo.

Granted take this with a grain of salt since Im a quant trader in exotic derivatives in a quant fund, macro isn’t my strongest suit.

That’s reasonable. I know nothing about rural land. I don’t know how active you are but the ARK etfs (ARKK, ARKG) look like good investments. Nice split between tech and genomics. Granted my work is more short term, but their implied volatility is unusually low for the price changes imo which is nice.
