They shouldn't be allowed to vote for 8 years too

You could have stopped that 4 words earlier

^ even though I'm with all you patriots. If I move to FL I'd gladly support this.

Right. Why stop at 8?

Last line should be "This is the way"

Or just make them 2nd class citizens without a voting right.

Maybe the right to vote should be earned instead of given out to anyone with a pulse (and many without).

I could get totally behind this. As citizens who have paid taxes for fifty plus years, my husband and I are appalled at how many freeloaders (this is NJ), are eligible to vote. Of course many non-eligible foreigners are voting anyway.

It wouldn’t be the worst idea. You need to know how many Stars and Stripes are on the flag to be a citizen, most voters probably don’t know.

13 stripes for the original colonies. 57 stars for all the states 😆

I'd be all for that.

our founding fathers intended for business/property owners be the ones voting. as they predicted, let everyone vote and promise them free shit, they'll vote for you regardless of the policy consequences.

Well we've almost reached the point of more freeloaders in the cart than number of horses available to haul their lazy asses.

That is a terrible idea, voting for someone because the letter after their name is what caused the Democrats not have to try in California. Plus the need to purge the Rinos first.

You mean like the rest of us?

Wouldn't matter they come from states with rigged elections anyway. It could be 100% turnout for Republicans and the Dems would still stuff the ballots because they control the process. It's the only way Gavin Newsom won California and this is a FACT!

Yup. Elections have been officially dead in California for years, its just theater now. It looks like a democratic process in action but it's all for show as "elected officials" are chosen and installed by criminal fascists.

They shouldn't be allowed to vote in the state they moved to. So, if they moved from New York, for example, they'd have to vote absentee in New York's elections.

I'd say only third generation descendants of theirs are allowed to vote. 8 years is much too short a time.
