I could get totally behind this. As citizens who have paid taxes for fifty plus years, my husband and I are appalled at how many freeloaders (this is NJ), are eligible to vote. Of course many non-eligible foreigners are voting anyway.

Or just make them 2nd class citizens without a voting right.
Maybe the right to vote should be earned instead of given out to anyone with a pulse (and many without).

It wouldn’t be the worst idea. You need to know how many Stars and Stripes are on the flag to be a citizen, most voters probably don’t know.
