What? Why are you trying to downplay something large numbers of us are observing/warning about? I'm not breaking the "no doxing" rules for internet points. Seattle and San Francisco both have problems, and it isn't the right leaning rural people who are moving away too flee the expensive, dirty, unsafe cities. If anything the actual states with the shitholes themselves are are seeing a renaissance because the people who vote for communism are moving away.

I've seen businesses fleeing, mainly because of taxes and shutdowns. The only ones that would be bringing leftist policies would be ones like Facebook, which you do need to watch out for, but those are not the majority. However, they will try to enforce their policies, because killing off smaller companies means more monopoly powers for them.
If you want to counter that, then instead of whining that somebody should mandate some test, maybe you should help break up those companies, convince their employees to work elsewhere, ensure more people have guns, or focus on anything that's actually possible, and not some stupid "you think 97% like me" test.

A lot of those people fled to California. The center of the problem was in Northern Texas and the Oklahoma panhandle, but it was widespread.
Some California authorities tried to turn the migrants away, arrested them, harassed them illegally, and committed some of the worse civil rights violations in the century before WWII.
