Only thing worse than Dem is RINO. Somewhat lengthy but I'm compelled to share it

"Voting is a fundamental right of all American citizens who meet constitutional eligibility, and we must robustly protect that right and ensure that only votes cast by eligible individuals are counted. Under Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution the states – acting through their elected officials – are responsible for establishing election laws to protect the integrity of the democratic process and maintain public confidence in elections. It is not the role of the federal government to mandate a one-size-fits-all approach that fails to provide states with the flexibility necessary to administer elections in their state. For instance, when I was Speaker of the House in North Carolina, I pushed for a commonsense voter ID law to help prevent fraud and ensure the integrity and confidence of our voting process.

Over the past few weeks, I have heard from many North Carolinians about potential election fraud during the general election. President Trump and all other candidates for office have every right to request recounts and litigation to ensure state election laws were followed, just as other Democrat and Republican candidates have done before. On December 1, 2020, Attorney General William Barr stated that the Department of Justice has not uncovered any evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. Anyone who committed election fraud, voter intimidation, or voter suppression should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If you would like to report an act of election fraud, voter intimidation, or voter suppression, contact information for the Offices of the U.S. Attorneys for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina can be found on the Department of Justice website: https://www.justice.gov/usao/find-your-united-states-attorney. If you have any additional questions you can reach out to the North Carolina State Board of Election at: https://www.ncsbe.gov/voting.

The U.S. General Services Administration Administrator Emily Murphy released a statement on November 23, 2020, stating that she would be releasing $7.3 million in funds for the presidential transition to the Biden transition team. Ms. Murphy additionally stated that this decision to release the transition funds was made independently using public information and followed precedent from previous legal challenges and recounts. Lastly, Ms. Murphy noted that the GSA does not determine the outcome of legal action or recounts but does have to meet the requirements under the Presidential Transition Act of 1963.

On December 14, 2020, the Electoral College met to cast their votes for President. Each state receives a number of electoral votes equal to its representation in the House and Senate. For example, North Carolina receives one for each member in the House plus two for its Senators, so we have 15 electoral votes. To be elected President, a candidate must receive 270 electoral votes. Each state’s electoral votes are cast according to the state’s laws, most of which direct their electoral votes be cast for whichever candidate received the most votes in the state. North Carolina’s electors cast our 15 electoral votes for President Trump. However, in total Vice President Joe Biden received 302 electoral votes and President Trump received 232 electoral votes. Now that the Electoral College has voted, it appears that Vice President Biden is the presumptive President-Elect. However, I believe it is essential that all legal proceedings should continue to be reviewed by our justice system to ensure a fair election. Please know that I will continue to work with my Senate colleagues, and state and local officials to ensure elections remain secure and their integrity is upheld."

I can't believe i helped this douchebag keep his office.

Ditto - so disappointed (but not surprised) in Tillis. Also there is no way Cooper and Stein really won. Forest must be gelded and cucked out big time.
