I'm going to humor you. Let's say the actual date is Jan 6. They still can't appoint the electors because they're unable to get the MAJORITY of their legislatures to agree on taking back that power. So far, they're still the minority, BY ALOT, in each of those states, including Republican-held ones.
First they have to agree to come back into session (they need 2/3 majority to say yes), and then vote to have the majority to agree on taking back power, from both the STATE HOUSE AND STATE SENATE.
This is not happening. Only way it could happen if they start winning some of these court cases and that convinces enough of their legislatures to gain the majority they need to agree to do this. And this is all ASSUMING the deadline is January 6th (which it isn't).
I just said the only possible way to make overturning the election a reality is if the legal team can somehow manage to win a significant court case. I never said there's no point in trying.
My problem with January 6th is that there's too many people out there misinforming others on what's possible on that date just because they want to have an audience by continuously moving the goal line (watch, they'll move it to January 20 next). I'm simply trying to set realistic expectations, not false hope that will lead to immense disappointment.
I can guarantee you my comments will age well come January 6th.
Well as I've said before, the only thing that will really work is if Trump really does implement the insurrection act. Otherwise we're simply looking at a losing legislative/judicial path.

Well assuming you're right, then you're saying there is no point to even trying anymore.
