When I see people saying things like this, they're generally from the east coast, somewhere within an easy days drive of DC.

For those of us who aren't, the reality of taking a trip to Washington for...what, exactly? It's not so easy to justify.

I want more from Trump than he's given. I'm not showing up for another fucking rally, we're past that. Still plenty of time for him to be more direct about what the purpose of this gathering is, hopefully he does so. I'm all for making the trip if the cause is worth it, but I'm not taking a week off work just to get to DC and watch some speeches.

I get where you’re coming from. I too am frustrated with the “Kraken” stuff seeming to go nowhere, and isn’t there more up his sleeve? And why are Republicans so spineless, corrupt or anti-Trump?

But we don’t like sitting around feeling impotent either.

We’re going. Missed the ones in the past because D.C. - yuck. Just been going to the local ones which has been a lot of fun and have met a good number of not-scared people we then get together with and hug and share stories with! In fact, the local ones are valuable for that ability to keep getting together. The D.C. one will be different as we’re from all over the place. But it’s nice to not feel alone, too. To be part of something bigger. To hopefully make a difference.
