When I see people saying things like this, they're generally from the east coast, somewhere within an easy days drive of DC.
For those of us who aren't, the reality of taking a trip to Washington for...what, exactly? It's not so easy to justify.
I want more from Trump than he's given. I'm not showing up for another fucking rally, we're past that. Still plenty of time for him to be more direct about what the purpose of this gathering is, hopefully he does so. I'm all for making the trip if the cause is worth it, but I'm not taking a week off work just to get to DC and watch some speeches.
I get where you’re coming from. I too am frustrated with the “Kraken” stuff seeming to go nowhere, and isn’t there more up his sleeve? And why are Republicans so spineless, corrupt or anti-Trump?
But we don’t like sitting around feeling impotent either.
We’re going. Missed the ones in the past because D.C. - yuck. Just been going to the local ones which has been a lot of fun and have met a good number of not-scared people we then get together with and hug and share stories with! In fact, the local ones are valuable for that ability to keep getting together. The D.C. one will be different as we’re from all over the place. But it’s nice to not feel alone, too. To be part of something bigger. To hopefully make a difference.
I understand your position, truly I do. I'm still on the fence, and I'm thinking I might head that direction but not go in to the city, "Ready Reserve" style.
Day after the Georgia runoffs. Tensions are going to be hot. I'm of the opinion that if you go, you should go with the full expectation that you are entering a combat zone. I would not walk into a combat zone unarmed, under any circumstances. So that's the razors edge, for me. We're either in for the full pound, or I'll save my sheckles for another day.
There will be quite a few armed Patriots, and I hope Trump has the National Guard at the ready. Somehow I think the Antifa folks are still in the same boat as many (but not all) Dems that they've still won the election so no need to waste precious energy on us. After all, many of them fighting would mean they think they may lose, right? I really don't know how things are going to go down. I know that I'd prefer nothing life-changing in a bad way happens to any of us. But I also know we'd (part of my family) feel like wimps if we didn't go. Not to say I'm not worried from time to time. But I am now more excited than worried, especially as I see some concrete caravan info being posted, etc.
I really don't understand why there aren't more whistleblowers who know about the deep fraud coming out. Like those NSA people listening in on a bunch of communications. Like nobody's taping conversations or Zoom meetings about all their plans? Are they just waiting to reveal that stuff when it doesn't matter, like 10-20 years from now? ARGGGH.
