Cowabunga it is. Lets return to the ways of the wild west and we will thin out the herd a little by eliminating all of those problems we have. It would actually make America great again.

Make Dueling Great Again

The best kind of dueling electors are the ones that use flintlock pistols at ten paces imo.

Alexander Hamilton Has Entered The Chat

4
everyman 4 points ago +4 / -0

Started offering this to some of my leftist acquaintances.

“Why does anyone need a gun?”

I go get two pairs of boxing gloves.

“Let’s try an experiment, for science.”

“But the police...”

“The ones you want to defund?”

Uhh Hamilton was also a proponent of a powerful fed & central bank - - how's that worked out for us? There is a reason that leftists cream themselves over Hamilton & decry Jefferson as an abhorrent slave owner...

Read the federalist papers. He wrote like half of them. Burr was the centrist loser.

Edit: He wasn’t a loser because he was a centrist. He was both.

Say what you want about Hamilton, but dying in a duel is hardly a faggoty way to go.

Yosemite Sam is unarmed - he had his guns confiscated. Not joking.

To cater to what Warner Bros. calls a ‘modern audience’, they’ve decided to confiscate the firearms of Elmer Fudd and Yosemite Sam. They’ll be keeping all the other stuff, though. Blowing each other up with dynamite is still politically correct.

Lockdowns showed me that Police aren’t worth shit. They aren’t law enforcement. They’re tyranny enforcement.

I think reassigning police to begin protecting the people and our rights instead of protecting the state. Fuck the state.

If the whole country was packing, how many people are going to want to try robbing a bank? Or holding up a convenience store? Nothing keeps a gun in a holster like the threat of 10 more guns coming out of the holster.

this would mean it’s up to each individual to regulate their own disagreements at gun point.

That's the point. Everyone would be more inclined to listen to another person's point of view and is more than happy to talk it out because if shit hits the fan, people will die.

Having every one armed and be their own police is the ultimate conservative way of doing things.

Yeah so we have anarcho tyranny right now which is even worse. At least anarchy would level the playing field a bit so we could cull a few commies here and there.

No law enforcement would result in actually being able to dispose of communists, what is wrong with YOU lately?

3
Ganath 3 points ago +4 / -1

That’s the same argument the anti gunners used to keep concealed carry illegal, and it was proved wrong. It’s the same they used to try to end/prevent open carry and it was wrong. Guess what? It’s still fucking wrong.

That's why Dodge city was a shithole too dangerous to live in, had to turn guns in when you entered town and many never got them back.

for sure

2
Deplorable_Badger 2 points ago +2 / -0

Very true about Dodge City being dangerous. My Great Grandpa had a twin brother, both went out west to get free land, they slept through their train stop and ended up in Dodge City. They just got off the train to try and head back to where they were supposed to go, but two minutes after getting off the train, one twin was hit by a stray bullet from a gunfight, so they had to stay in Dodge City until he recovered - missing out on the free land.

Kansas, well of the interstate right? I stayed a night there a few months back on my way back from AZ, knowing this now, it feels good that I was packing through there.

Really? Any reading you could direct me to? I just figured it was just Arthur Morgan, pick up one from the general store along with some coffee and cigarettes.

2
Proda 2 points ago +2 / -0

I read something a year or so ago about judges ruling cases, especially in the south after 1870, in such ways as to be restricting of gun rights for poor people, and especially blacks, atm I do not recall details but I promise I'll check, I should have a book on the issue, and update you once I am more certain.

Edit: So I remembered right, there were particular codes of laws in the former slave states after the civil war that would clarify how newly freed blacks were only second class citizens, said codes were called black codes and they went into detail about gun restrictions too.

Not as wild in some places, wilder in others.

Most cities had strict guns laws, you had to turn your guns in at the sheriff's office when you came into town, and pick them up when you left. Failure to do so meant jail.

The trope of the 'gunfight,' two men facing off in the street, is complete bullshit. Never happened. Gunfights typically started in one of two ways: 1. Two guys who hated each other's guts saw each other on the street and started shooting, 2. two guys got into a fight over a card game and started shooting.
