We have dozens of chat groups popping up, this is not ideal. Having TD.win is ideal because EVERYONE can coordinate as a "team". Creating dozens of chat groups where only small portions of people migrate to is spreading us out unnecessarily. There needs to be a chat server or group the TDW community makes "official".
If we're going to create chat groups, everyone should be on the same page. As I mentioned in a previous post, we could always create our own rocket.chat server. Having the TDW website is amazing, now we need to do the same with a chat. One official TDW website and one official TDW chat (and backups obviously) is the only way.
This can be an option: https://computingforgeeks.com/how-to-install-rocket-chat-server-on-debian-ubuntu/?amp
I really think rocket.chat is our best option. It appears to be intuitive and user friendly. You combine that with he fact that it's free and has a slight learning curve, I don't think you can beat it. The longer we're separated, the harder it's going to be to bring everyone back together.
