We have neglected to educate OUR PEOPLE. Inner cities, new immigrants, even our own native children have no clue what AMERICA is supposed to be. Instead they are taught the democrat nonsense and their stupid actions resulting from this mis-education is used to divide the nation and weaken it.

100% agree that children are not educated as should be, but I may be referring to France alone, though. Here, you would not believe the level of illiteracy of kids leaving high school, where I teach. They have no political opinion of their own, do not understand how the country works, and to be honest, could not care less. They're being brainwashed so hard. I teach A-levels (English): in the curriculum this year: chapter 1: Black Lives Matter. Chapter 2: Diversity in the USA (with the Squad). Chapter 3: Multiculturalism in Britain. Chapter 4: Modern Day Shakespeare. Chapter 5: How to spot Fake News (my favourite!). In my school, the current ongoing BIG project is to rename every classroom door by the name of a woman. Of course, they're having a lot of trouble coming up with 100 names. A lot of arguments over whether the toilet door should be named Margaret or not. True story.
Wow that is sad to hear. So it really is a global push to normalize marxist theories under the guise of race theory and equality. I would have to look up the numbers again but I know students who graduate from High School (12th grade) who are unable to answer the questions on a basic civics exam. In fact there are videos done where they quiz harvard graduates and they are unable to properly explain the powers of the US government. An educated populace is necessary for democracy. An uneducated populace will be easily duped into giving away all their rights for momentary safety and pleasures. Which we are witnessing now.
Edit: 20% of students are not passing basic literacy levels and passing through high school from quick searching.
Here everyone graduates. The criteria for graduation has been reviewed such that it is nearly impossible for a student to fail. Of course, with Covid, they have cancelled all of the final year exams (senior high, HSC) and students are only assessed thanks to the marks they get during the year. Papers are marked by teachers + lots of pressure from our hierarchy to be lenient, because, you know, Covid. Anyway, sad state of affairs, to be sure. I still teach old stuff - having a lot of fun teaching Orwell this year, and teaching them about censorship and stuff. Nobody has said anything yet but it might not be too long before they do.
I'd rather be unemployed and die on the street than teach any of that shit
Me too, but I still manage to get around quite well. If I have to speak about AOC, I never forget to mention her penchant for McCarthyism. You know there’s always two sides to the story and I teach the other side - not what I’m supposed to do though. They’ve added a chapter on Empowered Women after the election. Pictures of Kamala Harris and Rosa Parks are everywhere on the syllabus now. I do not teach that, I teach them about the Constitution, how elections work, etc.
