I'm not at all suggesting that we shouldn't enforce our border laws and require that people who come to our country uphold our values and morals, and assimilate into our country. This is exactly what we need.

As far as the illegals go, it makes sense that they would identify with an ideology that is counter to this. They came here illegally in the first place. They are going to support whatever ideology justifies their actions and choices. The same is the case for people who make piss poor decisions and end up poor, no insurance, etc. They look to the government for help. Why? Because it's much easier to rely on someone else to take care of the problems you couldn't figure out responsibly in the first place. /rant off
