Take some time to understand it before you make comments like this.

Please explain then, because I’m with him on this. It’s numbers in a distributed ledger, greater fool theory at work.

decentralized applications mean the entire internet and finance will be un-censorable. every application you download to your computer and or pc will be built on cryptographically secure decentralized platforms.

aka no one will be able to censor the future transactions or information of the world. there will be a decentralized youtube, no one can delete the content. there will be a decentralized reddit, a decentalized td.win. no one can hack it or delete the content.

all applications of the future will be FORCED to be more secure, faster, and decentralized because decrentalized and secure via a blockchain means a better transaction and no need for a middle man. aka no need for an institution.

every single bank, including the fed will be replaced by a distributed ledger.

the entire banking system is subject to this. so the entire financial system will be putting its trust into 'trust' protocols.

every car title, land deed, loan you take, vote you make, will be secured and tracible over the next 10 years.

the banks that don't open and incorporate the technology will be obsolete because the banks that do will win.

you remove the need for a fed entirely by replacing it completely by a fundamentally more secure system. it is not just a distributed ledger.

your dollar only has value because people use it. the currencies of the future that will succeed will be the ones that people use. not those that the government mandates.

I understand all these things and that’s why I can appreciate the tech behind Bitcoin and the like, but as it stands right now the value bitcoin has outside of its protocol is to me is based entirely on speculation.

I hope you’re right that everything is eventually replaced with blockchain tech for the purposes of decentralization, but we’ll see.
