He did say next time, but he didn't say not this time as well. People take it out of context even here. I don't get why people run with things like this, it helps no one. If you are questioning one of the only people in government who has spoken up about it because of an out of context quote, we are screwing ourselves.
Paul never said he wouldn't contest the electors. That was fake news. He hasn't said affirmatively, either, but he has said "there was fraud, and the election was stolen in many ways". At any rate, don't count him out.
I agree with that technical point. I venture to say it is wise to judge a politician not on the words they may utter, but on the actions they perform. We shall see....
