Kind of like back when Democrats were screaming about people dying in the streets bc of pre-existing conditions (so you bigot you need to support a health care bill that’s so great it doesn’t begin until after Obama’s re-election), and the fix was the ACA that took over health care and made my insurance 5x the price.
Why couldn’t we just host a national town hall between the POTUS and every health insurance CEO to ask them why they couldn’t offer plans to cover pre existing conditions?
We need people whose default mindset is “not the government’s job.”
Any COVID related appropriations should be funded by Amazon, Walmart and other businesses which were allowed to stay open.
The government picked winners and losers and is now taxing the losers for losing.

The irony is that in order to achieve this, people who want the gov't to stay out of their way need to get far more involved in the gov't.
