Rand also voted for S.386, the Indian Greencard giveaway bill. A special-interests bill for big tech as they layoff american IT workers and replace them with low-skilled Indians.

Ron Paul wouldn't have voted for that crap.

Rand also voted for S.386, the Indian Greencard giveaway bill.

And that's very interesting. If we had decent media outlets, then maybe somebody would ask him why he did it.

Rand "voted for it" by not objecting to the unanimous consent motion used by Mike Lee (R-India) to pass the bill without any committee hearings or discussions. Congress knows American workers would hate this bill if it got the proper hearing it deserves.

Rand Paul is NOT a libertarian. His father would go around making backroom deals like Rand did.

See my other comment hear to see what deal he made with Mike Lee (R-India). Libertarian leadership does not mean making deals to promote one group's interests over another.

Breitbart's Neil Munro, who reports on immigration issues, covers the bill nearly every week.

Here's something from CIS (center for immigration studies)

To appease the objections of Sen. Rand Paul and employers of foreign nurses, for the next seven years, 4,400 (3%) of available slots would be reserved for physical therapists and nurses coming from abroad and additional visas would be made available for their dependents.

Did he do it for political reasons? Like vote trading?

Don't know what was traded, but he did make some kind of deal with Mike Lee (R-India). See my other comment here for details
