I'm reminded of the parable about the based meteorologist who was placed in a situation similar to ours. As he walked out of his hotel room the hostess asked him about the length of his stay at her establishment. In a telling sign of mental adaptability he looks up at her with a steely but disheveled eye and says, "What if there is no tomorrow? There wasn't one today..."
