Killed by the Senate, the SCOTUS and the House every time they've tried to do it.

How long is it going to be before we will end up reading that same exact sentence... but with the "by" removed?

That's where this is headed.

I'm not endorsing it.

Don't want it.

Just telling the politicians to be very careful. There aren't enough mercenary security-for-hire in existence to possibly protect the whole corrupt establishment from an enraged and prepared people.

What ever happened to the fucking Line Item Veto?

Redpills:

1.) It's not in the Constitution ie it's unconstitutional. Legislating is for the Legislative Branch.

2.) But what is in the US Constitution says that this Bill like most big bills, are unconstitutional, because...

Don't need a Line Item Veto, if whole bills are stricken down if anything in them is unconstitutional; as it is designed in the Constitution.

3.) Plus, things like earmarks are also unconstitutional. Congress can say give the Army $1 million for buying blankets, but it's the Executive Branches job to award the contract; not congresses job; ie lobbiests cant give money to congress to get a contract, and if they give it to the Executive branch, that's a crime.

4.) Enforce the US Constitution as written solves 99% of these kinds of problems; and our Country's problems, including makes Election Fraud go away.

5.) Instead of sending money to countries, we buy territory; pretty simple as written.

6.) MAKE SCOTUS & Judicary GREAT AGAIN! AS WRITTEN

GEOTUS VETO THIS CRAP BILL PLEASE!!!!!!

Sorry guys but line item veto was always a shitty idea. Negotiating a compromise that just lets the president use a sharpie to eliminate without reprisal is stupid as hell.

Are you kidding us?

These "compromises" that are "negotiated" are simply giveaways all around for everybody with their hand in the till. These "comprises" are illegitimate, unrepresentative, corrupting, and disgusting.

And one of the most effective ways to stop these grotesque "compromises" is for one side to know they'll get screwed every time. That is a feature, that is its entire raison-d'être. That's not a bug. That's not shit. That's gold.

And that is how we get back to clean single-issue bills, instead of each bill being an utter abomination, as, surprise, we're seeing again today.
