The sad thing is that I'm a trained cook. I can run circles around her in the kitchen but she is so blinded by her preconceptions (she's the only Biden voter in my family) that she can't see that. Everything I make is from scratch. I managed to raise my son, cooking healthy meals while living on the poverty line and sometimes unemployed. I did this for 6 years. Now I work 10-12 hours a day in a very stressful job, but I'm going to be taking over the kitchen. My son can also cook. We've discussed changes. Btw, I did Thanksgiving this year on less then $30 with three days of leftovers! The only thing that came out of a can was the pumpkin for the pumpkin pie because using a pumpkin is a big PITA.
